Roof coating in Berks County, PA
We don't have to tell you what we'd do with a Berks County roof. We can show you one we already did, in Reading.

The Reading job
The roof was 18-year-old EPDM. Black rubber, chalking with age, seams starting to work loose, the usual story for a membrane that had done its two decades. The owner had a replacement quote in hand and wanted a second opinion before signing.
We walked it and found what we hoped to find: a dry, sound deck under a tired membrane. That's a restoration candidate, and we said so. The job went the way every one of ours goes. Power wash down to clean rubber. Repairs at the details. Polyester fabric embedded in silicone over every seam, flashing, and penetration. Then two coats of Mule-Hide 100% silicone, applied to manufacturer mil spec with wet-mil readings logged as we went.
The result: a seamless white roof over the same membrane, warranted by the manufacturer, for a fraction of what the tear-off would have cost. When this coating eventually wears down years from now, it gets washed and recoated. That roof never has to come off. The full process is on our EPDM roof restoration page if you want the step-by-step.
Why Berks County works for us
US-222 runs from our Chester County base straight up to Reading, which makes Berks one of the easiest counties in our service area to reach. And the building stock suits what we do: Reading's older commercial and industrial blocks, warehouses and distribution buildings along the highway corridors, and farm and shop buildings with metal roofs out in the townships.
Reading has its own page. Beyond the city, we cover Wyomissing, Sinking Spring, Kutztown, Hamburg, and the rest of the county.
Not every Berks roof needs the full system
Sometimes the membrane has years left and one bad flashing is letting water into somebody's stockroom. For that there's flat roof repair: find the leak, fix the detail, reinforce it, done. We'd rather do the small job right than inflate it into a big one. When the whole roof is ready, you'll know, and so will we.
Pricing follows the same rules everywhere we work: $3 to $7 per square foot for restoration against $10 to $18 for replacement, fixed written quotes, and most jobs finished in 3 to 7 working days with the building open.
Berks County questions
Have you actually done work in Berks County?
Yes. The EPDM restoration pictured on this page is a real Berks County job: an 18-year-old rubber roof in Reading that we cleaned, reinforced at every seam, and finished with two coats of Mule-Hide 100% silicone. The before and after photos are ours.
Is Berks County too far from your base for a small job?
No. US-222 runs almost door to door from our area to Reading, so Berks is one of our most practical counties to reach. We quote small residential flat roofs and large commercial decks there on the same basis: free on-site inspection, fixed written price.
What Berks County roofs make good coating candidates?
Aged but structurally sound flat and low-slope roofs: EPDM and TPO on commercial and industrial buildings, mod-bit and built-up roofs on older blocks, and metal roofs on farm and warehouse buildings. If the deck is dry and solid, it is worth a look. If it is not, we say so and walk away.
